6th TransplantChild Workshop: “Can we improve graft condition and survival?”

We organised the 6th TransplantChild workshop: “Can we improve graft condition and survival?. The workshop was online on Thursday, 23 October. The main aim was to present methods of improving the function of transplanted solid organs and HSC. Lectures will be presented on methods of immunosuppression, organ perfusion, late follow-up of transplanted patients, chronic graft dysfunction, and retransplantation in childhood. Participants will share their experiences with difficult cases in these fields.

5th TransplantChild Workshop: “Psychosocial and chronic challenges in paediatric transplantation”

We organised the 5th TransplantChild workshop: “Psychosocial and Chronic challenges in Paediatric Transplantation. The workshop had a hybrid format. It was hosted by La Paz University Hospital, Madrid, but participants were able to join on line, on Thursday, June 13th. The main aim is to comprehensively tackle the various psychosocial and additional hurdles that confront patients who have undergone pediatric transplantation. This approach is grounded in the principles of a holistic and all-encompassing perspective that the network adheres to

4th TransplantChild Workshop: “Novel training programmes in paediatric transplantation”

We organised the 4th TransplantChild workshop: “Novel Training Programmes in Paediatric Transplantation. The workshop had a hybrid format. It will be hosted by Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Porto, Portugal, but participants were able to join on line, on Thursday, 27th October. The main aim is addressing the education and training activities currently available in the different centres of the ERN in order to elaborate a common training programme for paediatric transplantation in Europe, providing the trainees with the skills to perform a common and transversal approach to all types of paediatric transplantation procedures.

3rd TransplantChild Workshop: “Tolerance in paediatric transplantation and transition to adulthood”

We organised the 3rd TransplantChild workshop: “Tolerance in paediatric transplantation and transition to adulthood. The workshop was on line, on Thursday, 11th November. The main aim is addressing training in the area of paediatric transplantation according to the holistic approach of the network, providing skills to perform a common and transversal approach to all types of paediatric transplantation procedures.

2nd TransplantChild Workshop: “Novel strategies in paediatric transplantation”

We organised the 2nd TransplantChild workshop on Translational Research: “Novel strategies in paediatric transplantation. The workshop was on line, on , 30th November 2020. The main aim of the workshop was addressing training in the area of paediatric transplantation (PT) according to the holistic approach of the network and allows integrate educational activities in all type of transplant and a wide variety of professionals involved in all phases of the transplant.  This workshop provides skills to perform a common and transversal approach to all types of PT procedure.
